Meet Our Team

Ricardo is an M&A professional with around 10 years of experience leading cross-border transactions across Europe.

Before founding Lealia, he drove inorganic growth for PE-backed healthcare platforms Veonet and Affidea, managing the full M&A lifecycle from sourcing and valuation through to negotiation, signing and closing, as well as post-closing performance follow-up.

He began his career in Financial Advisory at Deloitte Portugal and later joined PwC España’s Transaction Services team, where he led financial due diligence projects across multiple sectors and geographies.

Ricardo holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics and Management.

Duarte Rocha Pereira is a finance and M&A professional with experience supporting cross-border investments and transactions within the renewable energy sector across Europe and Latin America.

He led financial modeling & valuation for Solar and BESS projects for Infraventus Group, while supporting capital allocation decisions and fundraising. Duarte managed the full transaction cycle, including due diligence coordination, negotiation support, transaction documentation, and post-closing activities for multi-asset portfolios.

Prior to founding Lealia, Duarte expanded his experience as a freelance consultant, developing valuation models and investment pitches for real estate projects in Portugal.

He began his career in FP&A at Philip Morris International and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics and Management.
